Director
Timothy Holder is a highly experienced investment banker with established relationships and expertise across a broad range of disciplines including project finance, mergers & acquisitions, debt and equity raisings, private equity, corporate restructurings and offset. He started his investment banking career with Schroders (now part of Citigroup) in London, where he spent ten years working on predominantly MENA based transactions, He subsequently established the Middle East operations of Close Brothers ahead of co-founding MerchantBridge, a MENA focussed integrated investment bank with offices in London, Riyadh, Dubai and Beirut. Mr Holder also established the Middle East businesses of BDA Partners, a leading Asian cross border M&A firm, and Taylor-DeJongh (TdJ), a prominent Washington DC based project finance advisory firm.
Throughout much of his investment banking career, Timothy advised the UK Ministry of Defence with respect to the Saudi British Economic Offset Programme, which thus far facilitated multi-billion dollar inward investment into Saudi Arabia across a range of sectors including advanced manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, metals processing and downstream petrochemicals.
Prior to Schroders, Mr Holder spent seven years in the accountancy profession with Price Waterhouse and Coopers & Lybrand (pre-merger). He is a Fellow Chartered Accountant and graduate of the University of Warwick in Economics & Economic History.
